Chinese Language, Chinese History and Putonghua panel collaborated to create this year's Academic Week (May 2025), themed A Playful Exploration of Chinese Culture. The Academic Week included numerous entertaining activities aimed at introducing Chinese culture to students in an interesting way. Students from the four houses, for instance, designed booth games to introduce Chinese culture and history and conducted during the Inter-house Cultural Game Booth Competition. Playful learning was promoted. There were other events conducted in the Academic Week namely the Zhuangyuan Cup (狀元盃), the Chinese Cultural Carnival, the Chinese Cultural Performance and the Book Fair. The aforementioned activities are expected to raise students’ awareness of Chinese cultural heritage.
