Leadership Training

To explore and enhance students’ leadership skills, the Extracurricular Activities Department is committed to organizing and helping students participate in various leadership training activities. Working in partnership with the Hong Kong PHAB Association Jockey Club Shatin Integrated Service Centre for Children & Youth, the school provides a three-year leadership training course for S2, S3 and S4 students with leadership potential. In addition, two different "Leadership Training" activities are organized for club committee members.

Each academic year, students who have participated in the Leadership Training programme have to take part in volunteer services. The S3 Leadership Training members are responsible for preparing the "Hunger Banquet", while S4 members collaborate with the Hong Kong PHAB Association Jockey Club Shatin Integrated Service Centre in their studies of a number of social issues, and the findings will be released when they are in S5. In addition, the Department recommends students with outstanding performance in extracurricular activities for the Hong Kong Outstanding Students Award, which broadens their horizons.
